Ambassador of the Grand Garage
The GRAND GARAGE is Europe’s largest innovation workshop for people, knowledge and technology, based in Tabakfabrik Linz. The initial spark was provided by young people who were unable to find an opportunity to build a prototype from their ideas and with their manual skills. Ruth and Werner Arrich took up the idea, which was realized by the TGW Future Wings Private Foundation in the spirit of TGW founder Ludwig Szinicz. Today, the GRAND GARAGE spans 5,400 m² and three floors, primarily as an open technological space and meeting place for members and interested parties, but also as a central element for local companies, educational institutions, creative professionals and start-ups.
