Representatives from politics, business, administration and the local population meet regularly at the Waidhofen location talks to discuss the town’s issues. Yesterday to think of Waidhofen as a multimodal network that takes advantage of its location and history as an iron road to forge new things. The open spaces in historic houses, in established workshops, in industrial sites are closed to form a productive chain.
The sublime Crystal Hall in Rothschild Castle – a symbol of the successful transformation of spaces – was the perfect backdrop for many inspiring discussions – including with Mayor Werner Krammer, Building Authority Director Martin Helm, Benedikt Winkelmayer and Martin Scheiflinger from ÖBB Immo, Wolfgang Komatz from beta campus, Doris Sommer from Rothschild Castle and moderator & organizer Stefan Hackl (Head of Urban and Location Development in Waidhofen a.d. Ybbs) as well as many other interested parties.
